Generally, I try to avoid self-absorption, particularly online, but when deciding what to call this site, I naturally claimed my name as my domain name. In truth, I’d rather have a title for the blog and make it less about me me me and more about the topics I (plan to) address, but I’m hoping this site also helps me find gainful employment for next fall, so it has to be a little bit of shameless self-promotion.
Also, I man not be witty enough to come up with a good blog title. In the past I used “Four Nickels: Change for a paradigm.” I liked that one because it’s punny.
Suggestions are welcome. Maybe I’ll rework things so that michelekjones.com is self-promoting and giving prospective employers more information, and I’ll get another domain for the blog and then embed the blog in my self-promoting site. Hmmm… that might work better.
Ideas? Anyone? Bueller? Oh, wait… no one knows this site exists yet. Maybe I should fix that first.
